How do I know if my message was sent to my contact?

You will not know whether or not a message was to your contact's mobile number. However, as long as you typed the phone number in correctly, and your code was an output of the calculator, a message was sent.

Do data rates apply?

The SMS message that gets sent to your emergency number, does not effect your phone's service bill.
